Install these prerequisites before running Skills-Setup.exe

Microsoft SQL Server 2022 Express
Free database engine — required to store skills, exams and training data

- Windows 10/11 or Windows Server 2016+
- 4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)
- 6 GB disk space
- .NET Framework 4.7.2+
requirements.quick_steps
- Download SQL Server 2022 Express from the link below
- Run the installer and select 'Basic' installation type
- Accept the license terms and click Install
- Note your Instance Name (default: SQLEXPRESS)
- Enable 'SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode' during setup

Required driver to connect GTMC-Skills to your SQL Server database

- Run the installer and accept defaults
- Restart your computer after installation
